Overview:
I was approached with the job of designing a theme for WordPress that would be targeted to gadget news, a direct competitor with such blogs as Engadget. The client knew exactly what he was after; during the assessment, he supplied a wireframe which addressed all the details and functions of the site. He asked I followed the wireframe exactly and not make any changes – unless it was entirely necessary.

In addition to the wireframe, he decided he would like a clean design, very uncluttered and simple. To compliment the simplicity of the design he desired a white and light-gray color scheme while utilizing a single bright color for accent purposes.

Overall the project was quick as it only spanned a two (2) day period, from start to finish.

- Clean, organized and documented code for easy modification and script integration
- Security enhancements to ensure protection against hacking attempts
- Built-in support for PNG transparency in images in all tested browsers.
